Need Healing?

Doing Good
When Jesus found out about His cousin, John the Baptist, being beheaded from His disciples; He left from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. However, the multitudes heard and followed Him on foot from their cities. When Jesus saw a great multitude, He was moved with compassion for them. He healed their sick!
The disciples told Jesus they needed to send them away to get some food since it was late at their deserted place. Jesus said otherwise though. He told them the multitudes didn't need to go away and told the disciples to give them some food.
The disciples told Him they only had five loaves and two fish there. Jesus told them to bring the existing food to Him though. He also told the multitudes to sit down in the grass. He took the loaves and fish while looking up to heaven, blessed, broke the loaves. Then, Jesus gave them to the disciples who distributed the loaves to the multitudes.
They all ate and filled up. Afterward, they took up 12 baskets full of fragments left. They fed more than 5,000 including women and children that day.
When Jesus received bad news about His cousin, He went off by Himself. It didn't last long though. He discovered people who needed Him. Consequently, He was able to meet their needs including feeding the multitudes and healing their sick. He did good!
When something bad happens in our lives and/or in this world, we can also find people in our path who need us to do good for them.
I have had the opportunity to speak the truth in love to people and pray for people on a couple of occasions while at a local hospital in recent months. We can all take the opportunity to help, support, encourage, minister to other people during this difficult time in the world. (See Matthew 18:19; Ephesians 4:15)

Agreeing With God
What has God said to you? What has He said about you?
We get God’s results, when we get into agreement with Him and His Word.
When we trust Him and put our faith in Him, He is faithful. Whatever the situation may be at the time...if you need deliverance from a particular situation...if you need provision...if you need blessings...whatever the case may be...God has already done it. (Isaiah 53) All of your needs have been met according to His riches in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19) Everything you need has already been provided for. It was accomplished at the cross when Jesus took everything upon Himself. He paid for all of it.
Salvation...Forgiveness...Health...Healing...Deliverance...Provision...Blessing...Inheritance. (Psalm 103; Isaiah 53:5; Ephesians 1; 1 Peter 2:24)
How do we get into agreement with God and His word?
First, we renew our minds in His word. (Romans 12:2) Then, we meditate on His word so it will sink down into our hearts. (Joshua 1:8) We also speak out God's word in faith.
When we truly believe God's word, we speak it out. Additionally, we walk it out. We aren't just hearers of the word but doers of the word. (James 1:22-25) We live out God's word in this world.

It is Finished!
When He had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. (John 19:30, NIV)
Those three little words---"It is finished"---mean much more than you may be able to comprehend immediately.
"It is finished." (Selah) Think, consider, ponder, and meditate on those three words now. (Joshua 1:8) "It is finished." (John 19:30)
Everything was accomplished for us---believers---on the cross. By everything, I mean everything. Salvation is ours. Forgiveness is ours. Healing is ours. (Psalm 103:2-3; Isaiah 53:4-5; 1 Peter 2:24) Provision is ours. (Philippians 4:19) Blessings are ours. (Ephesians 1:3) Inheritance is ours. (Ephesians 1:14, 18) And, the list goes on.
We don't have to earn it. We don't have to manually work for it. It has already been done for us. Jesus paid the price for it. He accomplished it for us. All of it is a gift from God, our Father. And, He is the ultimate giver. (James 1:17)
We only receive as little or as much as we are willing to receive from our Father though. Just like any earthly father, our heavenly Father will not force His gifts on His children. They are free. He wants to give all of them to us. However, it is up to us. We have to do our part in order to receive all of those gifts.
We are His heirs. (Romans 8:17) As most heirs of an inheritance, we need to continue in a relationship with that person---namely, our Father, in this case. That on-going relationship includes fellowship, communication, sharing with one another, learning and growing together.
Through the relationship with our Father and renewing our minds in His word, we are able to believe and receive more from Him. (Romans 12:2; Hebrews 11:1; Mark 11:22-24) We receive everything from Him by grace through faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
The Holy Spirit works in and through us to not only believe and receive from Him but also to agree with Him and get in alignment with Him. (John 14:26; Luke 12:12; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12-14; Mark 11:22-24; 1 Thessalonians 5:17)
I want to receive all that my Father has for me in this life. How much do you want to receive from Him? What will you receive from Him? It's your choice. You decide. Just know and remember that "It is finished." (John 19:30)

Jesus is More Than Enough
What are you needing right now? Do you need healing? Do you need provision? Do you need blessings?
Well, then get ready! Get ready to receive all that Jesus died to give you! He died to give you more than what you may be experiencing right now in your life. He died to give you the abundant life here and now! (John 10:10b)
Jesus died for you for more than just forgiveness of sins---more than just existing, surviving, or living in this physical, natural world. He also died to give you many spiritual blessings which includes divine health, healing, and more. (Psalm 103:1-5) I am not just talking about physical healing either. I mean every possible type of healing you may need in every part of your body and in every area of your life.
Do you need emotional healing? Jesus is more than enough! Do you need mental healing? Jesus is more than enough? Do you need relational healing? Jesus is more than enough! Do you need financial healing? Jesus is more than enough! I am sure that you get the "picture" now.
If you aren't experiencing the 'abundant life' at this very moment, then there is a reason. Perhaps, you don't know God's word---His truth. God's children are "destroyed from lack of knowledge". (Hosea 4:6) Maybe, you don't believe the truth. Either way, for whatever reason, know that God's word is spirit and truth. (John 6:63) His word gives life. His spirit gives life.
Get in God's word! Meditate on it! (Joshua 1:8) Keep renewing your mind! (Romans 12:2) Pray continually! (1 Thessalonians 5:17) Believe and receive everything Jesus died to give you! (Mark 11:22:24)
You owe it to yourself! Most of all, you owe it to Jesus! Do not let His death be in vain! He died to give you the abundant life!
Jesus is more than enough!

Health Report
David writes that the 'Great Physician', namely God our Father, "...heals all [of our] diseases..." (Psalm 103:3b, NIV) Therefore, shouldn't we experience more divine health and healing within the body of Christ?
The Doctor says, "She only has about 6 months to live."
God says, "[She] will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done." (Psalm 118:17, NIV)
The Doctor says, "She will not recuperate from this illness."
God says, "...by [Jesus'] wounds [she has] been healed." (1 Peter 2:24b, NIV)
Much of what the body of Christ experiences is a direct result of our beliefs. Do we believe the so-called Doctor's health report? Or...do we believe the ultimate Doctor, the 'Great Physician', when He tells us that we are already healed?
When we get caught up in the world's belief system, we negate our faith. Then, we get the world's results. It is only by continually 'renewing our minds' in God's word will we truly believe that 'by Jesus' stripes, we are healed'. (Romans 12:2; 1 Peter 2:24b)
So...the next time, you may be sick...whose health report will you choose to believe? Will you believe the Doctor who prescribes lots of medicine that treats only the symptoms of the illness, disease, or sickness? Or...will you stand on God's word? Will you believe the 'Great Physician'? Will you receive your divine health and healing from the ultimate Doctor?
